Vacuola is the collaboration between two old friends. A few concepts about the spirit and character of the work were enough, along with the certainty of what they did not want to do, and the taste for short tracks. Given these premises, the CD was developed over time, feeding-back the inputs that one received from the other in the form of tracks that were taking shape. The poetics of the tracks runs between the life before
death, the playful unexplained experiences and the universes that surround us.
Vacuola is a compendium of sometimes violent and sometimes hopeful sensations that does not stop responding to a permanent state of mind and a naive rebellion against our condition as humans.
This text defines very well the synergies that originated the twelve tracks of this work, an osmosis of broken music and ascetic rest, of shock and plenitude with a poetic aura. Longing at the threshold of early childhood, as reflected by opening the inside of the cd with the photos of both authors passing through time, longing for distant days of encounter as the track Comalada, in which around 1981 they killed time listening to electronic, pop, free radical jazz, German eccentricities and the first recordings of their projects that together with those of other people close to them led them to meddle in the circuits of industrial and experimental music with the name of Ortega y Cassette. One of those first contacts was Rafael Flores with his label El consumo del miedo. A whim of the time made that forty years later Vacuola would end up in Wet Dreams Records the label that co-directs along with Josep Maria Soler, tireless rescuer of these scenes; undoubtedly this fact stimulated us a lot in the development of this cd that has been mastered by Carlos Dal Verme and that we now present.

Vacuola es la colaboración entre dos viejos amigos. Unos pocos conceptos sobre el espiritu y carácter del trabajo bastaron, junto a la certeza de lo que no querían hacer y el gusto por los temas cortos. Ante estas premisas, el CD se desarrolló en el tiempo retro alimentándose de los tracks intercambiados mutuamente que iban tomando forma. La poética de los temas transcurre entre la vida previa a la muerte, las lúdicas experiencias inexplicables y los universos que nos rodean.
Vacuola es un compendio de sensaciones a veces violentas y otras
esperanzadoras que no deja de responder a un permanente estado de ánimo y a una ingenua rebelión contra nuestra condición de humanos en el planeta.
Este texto define muy bien las sinergias que originaron los doce temas de esta obra, una ósmosis de música rota y reposo ascético, de conmoción y plenitud con aura poética. Añoranza en el umbral de la primera infancia, como se refleja al abrir el interior del cd con las fotos de ambos autores pasando por el tiempo, añorando lejanos días de encuentro como el tema Comalada, en el que allá por 1981 mataban el tiempo escuchando música electrónica, pop , free radical jazz, excentricidades alemanas y las primeras grabaciones de sus proyectos que junto a los de otras personas cercanas les llevaron a entrometerse en los circuitos de la música industrial y experimental con el nombre de Ortega y Cassette. Uno de esos primeros contactos fue Rafael Flores con su sello El consumo del miedo. Un capricho de la época hizo que cuarenta años después Vacuola acabara en Wet Dreams Records el sello que codirige junto a Josep Maria Soler, incansable salvador de estas escenas; sin duda este hecho nos estimuló mucho en el desarrollo de este cd que ha sido masterizado por Carlos Dal Verme y que ahora presentamos.
